Yours Truly: The New DC Women’s Career and Finance Examiner

writing

I’m happy to announce that I am the new DC Women’s Career and Finance Examiner for Examiner.com!  Caneil @ Venue Guru who also writes the DC Event Planning section for Examiner.com recommended that I apply.  Over lunch 2 weeks ago I told her that I’d love to write for either an online publication or heck Washington Post or NY Times.   So I applied and they approved my application!  This makes me really happy because I’d do this stuff for free.  I love writing about Women’s Career and Finance issues as if you can’t already tell, so this is right up my alley :-)

[Aside] What’s funny is that this was on my list of things to do this year.  Write for an online publication or newspaper.

Even though the articles will be written with Washington DC readers in mind, the articles and information shared will be applicable to all women reading.  As we move into an age where we’re chipping away chunks of the glass ceiling, it becomes more important for us to highlight our triumphs, issues and struggles in this area.

So visit, and visit often over morning coffee :-)
