This is exactly why I am in school to complete my bachelor’s degree. Education is extremely important! I have been blessed with working for a company where my lack of a bachelor’s degree has not impeded my advancement. However, I know that even though I have no plans right now to leave my job, getting the bachelor’s degree will allow me to have options if things change. Its tough going to school part time, working and taking care of a family, but I know that I’ll benefit more in the end and that’s why I will stick it out for another year until I graduate.

I am amazed by the sheer number of women who just let their significant others take care of all the finances. Even if you are not in charge of paying bills, etc. you should still have some basic knowledge of your finances! I’ve also heard stories of husbands who go deep in debt and the wive has no clue whatsoever! That just amazes me.
