I guess some of my more snarkier commentary was picked up by the Washington Post Express on the Squeaking by on $300,000: Recession Fallout in Six Figures article:

What can I say?  There are people with larger problems, Ms Steins worrying about squeaking by on $300,000 just sounds silly when she has within her means to scale back and save more.
