I learned something new from this post. I liked the tips you have given to build passion. I agree that we should be passionate about our work or job, only then we will be happy and succeed in life. 'What Color Is Your Parachute' also looks like a good book.

Most persons love the job but dislike the duties because they place some descriptions to the job and then when eventually in the position found out that it is not what they had expected. All my past jobs I love them because every day there is a new lesson to learn and I always have my dream to have my own business. I go to work every day with new energy.
When an individual set unrealistic goals and it is not successful with the job or the relationship then the individual starts to attack the situation. This instance is the job. You said you love the job but still you were mentally drain why was this. Is it that you set goals and the job wasn't fulfilling it and so you attacked it? To be happy in one's job the individual should think about the goals he/she associate with it. Decide if the job will merit the outcome of the goals so that he/she will not become unhappy which will lead to depression.

I think we've all been in that situation before and you really have to take a leap of faith and change courses. If you know what you want to do then do it and don't let nothing stop you. If the money gets tight and you still want to pursue your goals, just keep going.

I'm thinking this post was meant for me to read. I went through college trying to get a Bachelor's degree in Photography and now I'm in the SEO field. I didn't want to admit the pressure that I felt with Photography but it was there. I already knew I couldn't do Wedding Photos since it's so much pressure and anxiety for ONE day. But even other types of photography, I don't think I'm cut out for it. SEO is more my line of work. Thanks for helping me realize this.
