I think knowing your boundaries is the most important thing. Most people don't think I even have boundaries, but I do, and some things are sacred. Will I put up how much I'm in debt? Yes. But will I break that down? Not really. I didn't mind talking about income when the numbers were really low (I mean, "how does she LIVE??" low) but now that we're doing better it just kinda feels like bragging and it's no one's business because when you're doing bad people band around and cheer you on … but when people are doing good…well…I just don't want to bring out anyone's mean streak. LOL

I don't think numbers are important because what people do with the money they have is bigger than what they have. I don't look at the graphs bloggers post because I'm not a numbers person. I'm more interested in the lifestyle story and ideas.

Now if someone was trying to give instructions then I might want to know numbers to see if their advice is working for them but I don't read how to posts.

Nicely put my friend! I throw up almost all of my stats & figures so it would certainly be scary revealing exactly who I am, but one of these days i might have to change it up a bit and go legit At that point i'd def. have to take out salary, net worth, savings, etc…but at least I could then market myself more! aww yeahhhh… great post girl.

I don't put up really personal figures, either. It just seems a bit TOO revealing to put up things like my networth and how I'm doing paying down the car loan. I know that some people thrive on it, and it works for them, but it's really not my thing.

I really enjoy this blog. It is empowering, fun and without pretense. With that being said, the decision to empower others through what you have learned and continue to learn is in itself a personal commitment. Honoring a commitment does not require intimate disclosure, defense of your personal decisions, family or lifestyle.

I am grateful for what I have learned since subscribing to this blog. It has become part of my digital support system!
