Good informative article. There are however, many things to do so that the money does not become so much “scarce” and you can get out of bad credit by taking care of your personal finance.

We Americans some how tend to forget quite often that we are spending a lot of money each day over stuff or habbits that if we cut off from our lives, will save us a lot of money.

You can save money on shopping by using bunch of discount coupons. Some people frown upon using discount coupons. I have personally saved hundreds of dollars by shopping online because some times I find more attractive and discouted deals on the internet than anywhere else.

By shopping on the internet, I also saved money on gas which is oh-so-expensive now and by paying my credit card bills on time, I avoid paying interest rates thus my credit history looks fantastic, I keep cash in my account for a longer period of time that gives a good look to my bank balance sheet and I get a lot of reward points (cash back, gas, free shopping etc) becuase of my credit card usage. Imagine the debt I would have to face if I was not up-to-mark.

If I can do it, so can you, so can everyone else! It’s not rocket science. It’s personal finance that you can manage personally

Plan to buy your tickets about 2-3 weeks out for the best price. I have learned this over many flight bookings. My current flight to Long Beach was $690 for 2 people about 2 weeks ago when I booked…I just checked it and it is at $960 now for the exact same flights!

I've found that planning ahead is by FAAARR my biggest money saver. We actually had to cancel our timeshare this year because of lack of planning and watching flights slowly get to a place that it really wasn't that easy for us to scrape together the $ to send the whole crew! Love your tips.. I would now hesitate with the buying your flights too far in advance, however. We got burned badly with our trip to Hawaii this month– I had found great flights in October with reputable airlines… which both went bankrupt a couple months ago! Flights surged to 2x the price. With the current airline climate I now think that you can probably make the most educated decision if you don’t plan TOO far in advance.
