This was a sad, but very beautiful, post. These words in particular touched me:

Thanks for sharing those financial lessons. I think too often we don’t think about such things, because it really is easier not to… but then when faced with tragedy, esp. unexpected tragedy, we have so much MORE to deal with aside from the grieving process… because your proverbial “housekeeping” wasnt in order.

It seems like you really learned and grew a lot from the experience of losing your dad, and you’ve remained so strong (outwardly) even when I know it’s been so rough inside. *hugs* I wish you and your significant others all the very best as you finish tying up all the loose ends.
