I have four credit cards that have been inactivate for a decade. Is it better to cancel or leave open inactive (with zero balance) credit cards?

I'm not too sure which way to go with Credit Cards, I am far from trusting myself with one, way too many Shoe Shops in my area.

Do you own "Choose Credit Cards"? Or are they paying you for this post?

I'm amazed at the number of different ways you managed to link to the site in the space of one small paragraph.

*droool* AMEX! There's something about AMEX that makes you want to spend money. Not good. But like you said, we need to be wise about our spending.

I'd need to get my credit together before I can look at AMEX, LOL! But good to know that you get cash back. Sabrina, they should put that in big bold letters on the card!

To start with...I love your blog name!
About the Blue Cash...this card is great, but what they always fail to point out is that you have to spend $6,500 before the 5% kicks in. Before you reach that point you'll only get 0.5% on purchases, and 1% on "everyday purchases" (gas, groceries). I guess thats not bad, but its no 5%! (Thats why I switched from blue cash to amex clear). If you spend more than $6,500 though then you're set...and its a great card!
